Cala di Forno beach
In the Regional Maremma Park, south of Collelungo this suggestive beach is enclosed among two promontories of Uccellina Montains. Cala di Forno is a small bay. The history of this bay starts when it become a port to load coal. Flora and Fauna are very developed specially end of summer whit marine lily in blossom. On top of the hill there is a tower that in these days cannot be reaching. The trek n° 4 starts from the visit office in Alberese with a bus to Pratini. The trek is 12.8 km long, and goes on for about 6 hours with hight difficulty. The beach can be reach only in fall and springs because in summer is closed for danger of fire. One can arrive here easily by boat.
