Beach of Cala Civette
Situated South of Follonica and North of Castiglione della Pescaia, between Cala Violina and Punta Ala beach.
This wonderful beach is characterized by white and thin sand ,North-East covered by a thick Mediterranean brushwood overtopped by Civette Tower that gives name to the beach.
The sea is clear, populated by many different marine species. The hidden and wild position makes this beach one of the most exclusive site.It is a free beach without kiosks or refreshment spots ,the close services spots are south at Punta Ala beach.
You can reach the beach South from Punta Ala beach crossing the small Alma River.
From Collacchie SP 158 road between Follonica and Castiglione della Pescaia ,near Pian d’Alma turn Punta Ala direction ,after about 3 km turn right Camping site direction stay on the road for about 1,3 km.On the Alma riverbank carry on till the mouth ,cross the river ,after 300 mt. of cliff starts Cala Civette.
