Remains of a spa and a roman villa
At Le Paduline there are an ancient spa area of a fortified Roman settlement. The findings from this area are preserved in the Museum of
Archeology and art of the Maremma. The area is fenced and is not possible to visit.
There are many bars and restaurant services, which offer the tourist different solutions for refreshment. Again small shops of handicrafts and two supermarkets nearby. Many accommodations are available for a pleasant stay in Maremma.
On Aurelia (SS1-E80) and exit at Grosseto Sud (if coming from south) or at Follonica (For those coming from North) and follow the signs for Castiglione della Pescaia. The archaeological site of Paduline Giorgini is located near the bridge at the end of the parking lot of the market.
