Animal and Coastal Oasis of Scarlino and ANPIL
The sea is present in the northern area, the marshes “padule” of Scarlino east, the road to the south and west tower Owls to the coast. The Oasi is about 1000 acres of publicly owned land, crops and woodland, near the wetland. Protects several endangered species like the marsh hawk and the Mallard.
In the reserve there are two observer points, for lovers of birdwatching and fotonaturalistica, it is possible to meet the maremmana cows and bull breed grazing within this precious ecosystem. From Grosseto on SS 322 "The Collacchie" arrive in Castiglione della Pescaia and Punta Ala to continue. After passing the turnoff for Punta Ala continue in the direction Follonica until Puntone, near the Oasis.
