Sovana Necropolis
Testimony of the Etruscan people, exceptional historical site, in the necropolis of Sovana cave there are some of finest graves ever made between the third and second centuries A. C. The tombs are attributable to a population that lived in "Suana" between the seventh and the first century B.C. Older ones have simple forms and many niches, graves of people who lived in small villages with their herds. It is an example for the variety of tombs that can be found that tell the art of the Etruscan architecture. The "Tomb Pula", "Tomb of Typhoon", the "Tomb of Silenus," the "Tomb of Pisa", the "Tomb of the Siren." Once again we are in a fantastic landscape of nature.
